Girls Take Charge: An in-school program crafted for 6th-8th grade girls, inspiring young girls to cultivate their strengths, embrace positive values, and acquire essential skills that will empower them to excel both inside and outside the classroom. Girls will have the opportunity to learn about leadership, character development, practice healthy relationships, develop goal-setting skills, receive job exposure, and ultimately grow in a better understanding of who they are.

S.H.E: She Can, She Will: An after-school program crafted for 8th-12th grade girls, celebrating the lives and legacies of remarkable women throughout history and their profound community impact, providing participants the opportunity to combine engaging discussions and creative projects. Teens are the selection committee for the annual UnBought & UnBossed Awards. They will select an honored woman from the community to be their mentor; many of the mentor and mentee relationships continue beyond the program. Through this process, they develop their interviewing, research, and presentation skills.

IMPACT: An after-school program designed for 9th-12th grade girls, equipping them with the confidence and expertise to advocate strongly, conduct impactful research, and deliver compelling presentations, preparing them for future academic and professional success. IMPACT participants discuss the problems they care about most and will present their findings to 300 middle and high school students through peer-to-peer advocacy. Through education, peer presentations, and conversations between IMPACT members, community teens, and healthcare professionals, participants learn about their power to positively impact the health of our city and state.

Teen Leadership Institute: A program designed for 10th-12th grade girls, focusing on job and career readiness through career assessments, job shadowing, resume building, volunteer opportunities, and the goal of placing them in a paid summer internship. Girls will learn self-reliance and life, time management, and leadership development skills. Throughout the fall and spring semesters, participants will attend career exploration field trips and meet local business and organization leaders throughout Chattanooga and receive hands-on volunteer, paid internship, and workplace experiences at Girls Inc. thus, preparing them for the next stage in their lives.
