HERstory Marketplace is a joyful extension of our legacy designed to honor the stories of women and girls who are building, creating, and leading in our community. For 65 years, Girls Inc. of Chattanooga has stood beside generations of girls, championing their potential, celebrating their brilliance, and creating bold opportunities for growth. What began in February 1961 as a commitment to equip girls with the tools to thrive has grown into a powerful movement rooted in education, advocacy, and lasting impact.
Through our Girl E3 after school program tailored for 6th-8th grade girls, girls develop valuable skills in financial literacy, business management, and entrepreneurship. Our marketplace sets the stage for our Girl E3 participants to showcase what they’ve learned in the classroom and sell their own hand-crafted items to support Girls Inc.
