On May 16, 2026, Girls Inc. of Chattanooga will proudly host our Third Sneaker Gala, a bold evolution of a long-standing community tradition that began as the UnBought & UnBossed breakfast, to a luncheon and has now transformed into a high-energy, purpose-driven evening celebrating women of impact and the next generation of leaders.
Since 2024, the Sneaker Gala featured the Sole Awards, honoring women who embody the Girls Inc. mission through leadership and impact. Each year, the awards highlight women in diverse fields, including Advocacy, Education, STEM–Medicine/Health, and Sports, showcasing the many ways women shape and strengthen our community.
This year’s Sneaker Gala is especially meaningful as we celebrate 65 years of empowering more than 40,000 girls across Hamilton and Marion Counties to grow up strong, smart, and bold.
But this night is about more than celebration; it’s about sustaining a legacy. The Sneaker Gala serves as a critical fundraising pillar, ensuring the continuation of after-school and in-school programs, seasonal camps, transportation, healthy meals, and mentorship that equip all girls with the tools to thrive.
Our bold goal is to raise $300,000 through this event, funds that directly support our mission and help secure the next 65 years of Girls Inc. of Chattanooga’s work.
